Online Personal Coaching

No motivation. No excitement. Nothing to look forward to…

“BLAH!”

The things that used to excite you just don’t anymore. You’ve lost the desire in your relationship, the hunger in your work, and your overall drive in life.

You know you need to shake things up. You’ve known for a while that you’ve needed a change, but you feel stuck.

You can’t see staying in this job, feeling like this, for another year… let alone five or ten. And yet you hesitate to do anything about it because it’s a good job and you make good money.

And really, where are you going to go? Start over?? “Yeah, right.”

“Handcuffs.”

Your relationship is… well, “fine.”

It’s not a problem per se; but just like everything in your life, let’s be honest, you’re not that into it. It’s not necessarily the relationship that’s “missing something,” everything in life seems to be missing fire, excitement, drive, joy.

“But then again, what am I going to do? Leave?”

Staying is “meh,” but leaving is terrifying.

“What if I go through all the effort or take the risk and things don’t work out? What if I make things worse for myself??”

But you can’t stay here… not feeling like this!

Trapped. Paralyzed.

You look down the line a year… two years… five years… and worry that you’ll be in this same place, having the same conversation with the same sense of dread, and you’re not willing to tolerate this for very much longer.

You fluctuate between hope and despair and seriously wonder if you’ll ever pull the trigger.

Will you ever take the leap needed to make a change?

How great would it be to feel engaged in your work – to feel like it MATTERS?

What would it be like to find meaning in your job and to know that you’re having an impact?

Imagine feeling love, connection, and joy in your most important relationships. Imagine feeling confident and powerful. Imagine trusting yourself.

Coaching or Therapy??

Therapy is for healing old wounds and traumas… and treating psychological disorders. Most of your time in therapy is spent healing or processing events from the past.

Coaching is different.

As a coach, I see you as complete, whole, and resourceful… and I partner with you to create the life you want – now and in the future. We don’t spend time fixing the past. Instead, we play offense and create a new future.

Here’s how it works…

Step 1 – We start with getting to know you, who you are, and what you want your life to look like.

We distinguish the essence of who you at your most powerful, fully expressed, and best self.

We get clear on your values and life purpose.

You determine what you want in life. What do you crave? What do you yearn for?

Step 2 – We create projects and a plan in pursuit of your desires.

Want a new job?

Looking for a new relationship… or to be happy in your current relationship?

Want more money?

Need new or different experiences in your life?

Seeking motivation, drive, purpose, or meaning?

Whatever it is that you want… we will create a “project” and a plan around it!

For some, the projects work best as super structured step-by-step plans with strict deadlines and milestones that can be “project managed” along the way.

Others prefer a looser approach with more flow.

We work together in a way that works best for you.

We’ll start with your “what for” or your “why.” Then, we’ll come up with a measurable, quantifiable result – a clear “what by when.”

Next, we flesh out your vision. We paint a picture that is so vivid that you can practically taste it.

The vision and the why together provide fuel and the drive for the project.

Step 3 – We execute

Your projects become the “playground” or “lab” where you can practice being who you want to be, doing what you want to do, and having what you want to have.

As you work toward your projects, you’ll likely stall or stop where you stall or stop everywhere in your life. That’s great news because it provides an opportunity to coach to it in real-time. We discover patterns and habits that you may have been unaware of. When your “stuff” comes up, as it most definitely will, we’ll be able to point to it. We’ll be able to look at your fears and uncover and challenge any beliefs and automatic behaviors that have held you back.

Of course, this process is not linear, and no two clients experience the journey in the same way. We’ll move from step to step, allowing ourselves to go back and forth and back again as needed in a fluid dance.

Step 4 – I coach, you practice

“A-HA!” moments are great, but they won’t create the change necessary to get to your next level. You’ll need to practice. We come up with the practices together based on whatever you’re currently focusing on at the time

Sometimes it’s just noticing a specific automatic behavior so that you can “catch” yourself when it’s happening. If you can’t recognize it when it happens, you can’t choose an alternative way. Other practices include doing what is scary for you, like making the call, having the conversation, taking the trip, leading the team, making the presentation, etc. The more you go beyond where you usually stop, the more change occurs. Sometimes the practice between sessions is simply to just take one action to move your project forward. The point is that you are in action in your life, moving toward your goals in a way that you weren’t before.

The result is awareness, personal growth, and improved circumstances in your life.

“I worked with Michael for over a year, and it was hands down the most transformative year of my life! Not only was Michael able to ask me the pointed questions and mirror back what I actually wanted, but he also held incredible space for our conversations and really helped me uncover my power! I finally feel awake in my life, and I would be remiss to not credit a lot of that to him and his support, strength, fire, and heart. Michael is an incredible coach, and if you’re ready to level up literally every aspect of your life, I suggest you work with him!” – Chelsea Camille

The bad news? I guarantee you’re going to fail (but that’s okay).

How do I know? Because you haven’t conquered what you’ve wanted to conquer yet.

How you’ve been doing it until now has gotten you this far… but it won’t get you any further.

You know that, right? You’ve lived with you all your life. You know where you stop. You can probably picture that right now.

And hey! It’s okay. We all do it. It’s a protective mechanism. We stop to keep ourselves “safe.” My job as a coach is to point to it when it’s happening, so you can choose to move past it if you want.

One step further…

One step further…

One step further…

Right now… go ahead and put yourself on the path to success.

Like anything else, you get out of the coaching process what you put in it. So, your success is entirely up to you.

Before investing your blood, sweat, and tears (not to mention your time and money), I invite you to consider whether coaching is for you.

Think about these questions. If this is who you are and what you want, then you can count on your ability to get results:

Are you coachable?

Do you have a growth mindset?

Are you willing to look in the mirror?

Are you willing to get messy and uncomfortable?

Can you take personal responsibility and ownership for every part of your life?

Can you prize results and experience more than feeling comfortable or right?

Do you really want change?

There’s no pressure. I intend to support you.

If you’re wondering if coaching is for you, particularly if we are a match, then I invite you to schedule a complimentary discovery call. It usually runs for about an hour. I’d love to hear where you are, where you want to go, and answer any questions you might have.

“When I was deciding whether or not to hire Michael as my coach, I was scared to leap, but I can wholeheartedly tell you that it was the best decision I’ve ever made, and it completely changed my life.” – Joel E. (Entrepreneur)
